A division of Glenn Shepard Seminars, Inc.

The most successful chambers offer Chamber University classes because high-level, accredited classes always attract members who have never attended another chamber event.

REASON: Government agencies, manufacturing, etc., have no need to attend networking events, but accredited classes on hard skills like management are appealing to them.

It costs the chamber nothing, but brands it as a hands-on source for professional development (like Institute is for chamber execs).

When members think of your chamber in the same category as universities that cost thousands to attend, chamber membership becomes far more valuable, and a better deal. (This is “Market Positioning” and “Branding”).

Accreditation
In order to make Chamber University classes work, they need to be accredited.
Glenn’s seminars qualify for credit at the highest levels possible:

1. SHRM

2. HRCI
